Hey GWBT Family!
We’re still catching our breath from the 10th Anniversary stop in Indianapolis on July 12, 2026 — and whew, y’all showed OUT! The Bold & The BeYOUtiful Blueprint Indy ‘25 was more than an event — it was a full-circle experience. Held at Martin University, this unforgettable stop on the Girls Who Brunch Tour demonstrated that when the community comes together, transformation occurs.
For nearly 50,000 girls across the country, this movement has been a lifeline, a place of healing, truth-telling, sisterhood, and empowerment. Empowering young people isn’t just a mission — it’s the blueprint for building stronger, more resilient communities. Our youth are facing real challenges: poverty, bullying, family instability, trauma, and we refuse to let them face it alone.
Why Empowering Vulnerable Youth Is So Urgent
Currently, our girls are navigating a world filled with complex challenges, some of which are visible, while others are invisible. From poverty and trauma to bullying, isolation, and digital exploitation, today’s youth are facing a mental, emotional, and social health crisis.
According to the CDC, suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth aged 10–24. The National Center for Children in Poverty reports that 34% of children in the U.S. live in low-income households, and those impacted by poverty, instability, or discrimination are significantly more vulnerable.
But here's the truth, people don’t always talk about:
At-risk girls don't only come from broken homes. They can come from two-parent households, private schools, and loving communities. Because the dangers aren’t just in the streets, they’re online, in their devices, in isolation.
Social media, digital predators, peer pressure, and exposure to adult content make today’s youth extremely susceptible, even if they "have everything."

What Does It Mean To Be ‘At Risk’?
An “at-risk” youth is a young person vulnerable to negative outcomes like school dropout, exploitation, substance use, self-harm, or trafficking. Risk factors include:
Poverty or economic instability
Academic challenges or under-resourced schools
Mental health issues
Family dysfunction or neglect
Excessive screen time or lack of supervision online
Lack of access to positive mentors or safe spaces
That’s why the Girls Who Brunch Tour exists — to meet girls where they are, remind them of who they are, and provide them with the tools to rise.
