Girls Who Brunch Tour: Bold & the BeYOUtiful Blueprint, Jackson Recap

There are moments that remind you exactly why you do this work… and Mississippi gave us one of those moments.
Our inaugural stop in Jackson wasn’t just powerful, it was the official closeout of our Bold & the BeYOUtiful Blueprint experience, and what a way to end it.
What we planned as a beautiful gathering turned into something even bigger than we imagined, we welcomed nearly 400 girls into the room. Four hundred. That’s not just a number… that’s 400 stories, 400 futures, 400 young girls who showed up ready to be poured into.
And we felt every bit of that energy.
From the moment doors opened, there was a shift in the atmosphere. You could feel the excitement, the curiosity, the possibility. The day was filled with impactful workshops, dynamic speakers, and moments of joy and reflection that reminded us why creating safe spaces matters so deeply.
We didn’t just host an event… we created an experience. We closed out a movement.
The Voices That Filled the Room
This experience was elevated by an incredible lineup of speakers, facilitators, and leaders who poured into our girls with intention, truth, and purpose.
We were honored to be welcomed and supported by distinguished leaders in the community, including:
Senator Hillman Frazier
Councilman Kevin Parkinson
Their presence set the tone for the day, reinforcing just how important it is for our girls to be seen, supported, and championed at every level.
Our Bold & the BeYOUtiful Blueprint Panel, moderated by Dr. Ni’Cola Mitchell, featured:
Fallon Brewster
Iveanna Murry
Jae Coley
Tasha Myles

Each woman brought her own story, expertise, and authenticity to the stage, reminding our girls that success is not one-size-fits-all; it’s built through resilience, confidence, and self-belief.
Our breakout sessions allowed for deeper connection and transformation across every age group, led by:
Niketa Pechan
Keiona Cavett
Deidra Thompson
J’Haun Carter
Kysia Owens
Makailya Drake
These sessions weren’t surface-level conversations; they were real, necessary, and empowering. From mental health to identity, hygiene to self-love, our girls walked away with tools they can carry for life.
We also held space for our parents, with a dedicated session led by:
Lavon Donigan-Bradley
And we closed with our powerful Girl Chat (Ask Us Anything) panel, featuring:
Shamyia Drummond
Tarri Williams
Yonnette Maynard

From wellness and fitness with Johnnie Suzette to powerful performances throughout the day, every element added to the heartbeat of the experience.
A Community Effort
But let’s be clear: this kind of impact doesn’t happen alone.
We are incredibly grateful for the partners and sponsors who believed in the vision and helped us execute at such a high level. A very special thank you to:
Jackson Medical Mall
Black Lives Matter Sports
L'Oreal Paris
Maybelline Cosmetics
Della B’s
K&C Entertainment
Mangia Bene Restaurant Group
Stephen Brown, Briarwood Arts Center

Tia’s Balloons and More
Because of you, our girls didn’t just attend, they were served, seen, and celebrated.

The Closeout… and The Beginning
Mississippi, you didn’t just host us… You showed out. You helped us close out the Bold & the BeYOUtiful Blueprint with impact, intention, and excellence.
And if this is how we close chapters?
Just imagine how we open the next one.
We’re only getting started.
With gratitude, Girls Who Brunch Tour 💕
